Strawberry Saka Lemonade
Summer is just around the corner, which means it's the perfect time to make cannabis-infused strawberry lemonade! This incredibly refreshing drink can easily be enhanced with the addition of Saka PINK. If you haven't heard of Saka before, you're in for a treat. This zero-proof cannabis-infused rosé wine is made from grapes sourced from California’s wine country and combined with an emulsion of the finest craft cultivated cannabis.
Whether you're enjoying Saka PINK mixed into a drink or on its own, this innovative cannabis-infused wine presents notes of red berries and citrus. After tasting this product, I think you'll agree that it's a perfect match for strawberry lemonade.
If you're looking for a low-dose cannabis beverage experience, I recommend adding one ounce of Saka PINK to this recipe, which equals around 1 - 2 milligrams of THC. For a more elevated experience, feel free to add more.
I hope you enjoy this delicious drink that I crafted for the first-ever "Cannabis Beverage Week" hosted by Sonoma County dispensary, SOLFUL. Cheers!
Strawberry Saka Lemonade
Servings: 3
Equipment:
Citrus Press
Mixing bowl
Food processor or blender
Fine-mesh strainer
Whisk
Three 16-ounce Mason jars
Ingredients:
1 cup (8 oz) fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 5 - 6 lemons)
½ pound (8 oz) fresh strawberries,
3 ounces simple syrup (add more if you prefer a sweeter taste)
1 cup (8 oz) water
Cubed ice
1 ounce Saka PINK
Garnish with a small strawberry and a lemon round
Directions:
Begin by juicing the lemons over a mixing bowl, making sure to remove the seeds from the juice. Set aside. Next, hull the strawberries, then add them to a food processor or blender. Puree for about 1 minute or until smooth. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the seeds, then add the puree to the mixing bowl containing the lemon juice. Add the water and simple syrup. Begin to whisk the ingredients together until mixed well. Fill three Mason jars with ice, then add the Saka to each individual jar to ensure precise dosing. Add 1 cup (8 ounces) of the strawberry lemonade mixture to each Mason jar. Seal the jars tightly with a lid, then shake for 10 - 15 seconds to combine the ingredients. You can either serve the Strawberry Saka Lemonade in the Mason jars directly or transfer to a glass of choice. Garnish with a small strawberry and a lemon round, then enjoy!
