Cinnamon Sugar Cannabis Cookies

As someone who adores baked treats, there's nothing more exciting than a batch of freshly prepared weed cookies, especially if they are heart shaped!

If you’re looking for a unique way to express your love this Valentine's Day, these low-dose Cinnamon Sugar Cannabis Cookies make the perfect gift for those who enjoy enhanced desserts. Combining only a few simple ingredients, this recipe is incredibly easy to make as long as you have canna-butter on hand.

As with all THC-infused edibles, remember to consume safely and responsibly. While it might be tempting to lick the cookie dough off the spoon while you’re making these cookies, remember to proceed with caution. Start low, go slow.

Share these cookies with your partner, significant other, or best friend. Enjoy and wishing you a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

Cinnamon Sugar Cannabis Cookies

Yield: 16 - 18 cookies

Equipment:

Small Mixing Bowl

Small Saucepan

Large Mixing Bowl

Electric Mixer

Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter (2.5” x 3”)

Parchment Paper

Rolling Pin

Baking Sheet

Ingredients:

2 ¾ cup flour

1 ½ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

15 tablespoons regular butter

1 tablespoon THC-infused canna-butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon to garnish

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. While the oven is heating, in a small mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir together and set aside.

Using a small saucepan, combine the regular butter with the canna-butter and heat the two together until softened. Remove from heat and empty both kinds of butter into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Slowly beat in the egg and vanilla, and gradually begin to blend in the dry ingredients. Once the mixture has been blended well, use your hands to roll the dough into a big ball. Place the dough ball in between two sheets of parchment paper and use a rolling pin to roll it out. Cut the dough using your heart shaped cookie cutter and place onto an ungreased baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough space in between the cookies so they have enough room to expand! Continue this process until all of the dough is gone.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges of the cookies turn golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool on the baking sheet for two minutes. Sprinkle the cookies with cinnamon and enjoy!

*Note: To make these cookies more potent, adjust the tablespoons of regular butter for canna-butter. For example, add 2 tablespoons canna-butter and 14 tablespoons regular butter. Just be sure the total amount of butter equates to 16 tablespoons total (or 1 cup).
